Collaboration space
The MK:U Innovation Hub is a central location for the Milton Keynes business community, providing the ideal space for business leaders and trailblazers to meet and collaborate.
It showcases new and interesting innovations – in particular, those related to smart cities. Through regular events and demonstrations, innovators will discover new ways to utilise emerging technologies in their businesses.

Centre for Antenna and Communication Technology Innovation (CACTI)
The MK:U Innovation Hub aims to be one of the UK leaders for smart-cities-focused communications research.
The centre is equipped with all the tools to develop and test leading communications technologies. This facility supports businesses to make the best use of this equipment and apply it to their innovations.
MK:U Innovator Programme
Our cutting-edge Innovator Programme helps entrepreneurs boost their innovative mindset, generate and evaluate ideas, and develop them rapidly into marketable solutions.
The programme is designed to support the next generation of entrepreneurs in Milton Keynes and surrounding areas, to help them build the skills and networks they need to succeed.
Primarily delivered online and focusing on smart city technologies, this intensive course includes rapid idea development and problem-based learning while working on unique challenges presented by sponsors. The programme gives entrepreneurs an accelerated route to a market as well as access to a network of innovators.
The programme focuses on developing ideas and an entrepreneurial mindset. Therefore, applicants do not need a business idea to apply - instead, enthusiasm to launch their own business.
During the programme, participants receive support from a team of mentors and experts, who help them to develop their business plans and take their ideas to market. They also have access to a range of resources and facilities, including office space and equipment.
