Empowering Women in Business

Tuesday 19 November

Cranfield campus, CMRI Gallery (B38)
12:00 – 16:00 | Lunch provided

Women's Entrepreneurship Day Organisation’s mission is to educate, celebrate, empower, and support women in business all around the world to alleviate poverty. 19 November is observed annually to honour female entrepreneurs and celebrate their contributions to our community.

Join in the celebrations and hear from a panel of female founders, researchers and investors to hear their stories and how they are making a difference to the world of entrepreneurship for women.

After the panel, you'll have the opportunity to take part in mini workshop titled 'Reconnect with your core', run by Dr Orsi Ihasz.

In this workshop you'll have the opportunity to reflect on questions such as 'How can I create meaning and purpose?' and 'How can I bring positive change?'

These are triggers we will all encounter at some point through our professional and personal journey in life. Asking these questions to ourselves gives us the opportunity to stop for a moment and reconnect with our own values and motivations and explore where we see ourselves creating the biggest impact.

You'll also be one of the first to hear about our new programme, Rise Together. Funded by Natwest, the Rise Together programme aims to support early-stage female and ethnic minority founders to accelerate their business growth.
