Updates on fees, scholarships and financial support
We strive to keep our tuition fees competitive while maintaining the premium study experience Cranfield is known for. Please visit our website to see a complete listing of our fees for 2024/25 and 2025/26 and ensure your students have access to the most up-to-date information.
In addition, we are delighted to offer reduced fees on several key courses within our Energy and Sustainability, Environment and Agrifood, and Water programmes. This initiative is designed to make Cranfield’s specialised education more accessible to a broader range of students, helping them build impactful careers while addressing some of the world’s most critical challenges.
We also encourage you to highlight the range of scholarships available to support students financially. In addition to Cranfield’s own scholarships, we proudly participate in prestigious funding schemes such as the GREAT Scholarships, which offer opportunities for students from eligible countries to study in the UK, the Women in STEM Scholarship, designed to support outstanding female students in STEM fields, and the Chevening Scholarships, which provide fully funded opportunities for future global leaders.

Virtual Open Day
Our Virtual Open Day is the perfect opportunity for your international students to explore our unique campus from wherever they are in the world.
They can hear from our world-leading experts about our specialisms and get insight from our current students on what it’s like to live and study at Cranfield.
Prospective new students can use this opportunity to start networking with future peers – people with shared passions and ambitions. This is their first step to joining a community of incredible individuals.

Cranfield University has opened applications to several internal regional and merit-based scholarships - be sure to share the information with any prospective applicants in your network that you feel might be a good fit for our academic offering.
We are particularly excited to announce that the 2025 round of the British Council Scholarships for Women in STEM is open to candidates who are citizens and resident of Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, or Uzbekistan. The deadline for submission is 30 April.
In the coming weeks we will be undertaking a number of visits to several events in our region which we are very much looking forward to. MENAT, Pakistan and Sub Saharan Africa
It is another year filled with fresh aspirations, goals and targets. We ended last year visiting some of your offices in Nigeria and engaging with you, our valued partners. We have just completed a very enjoyable and productive trip to Kenya. Reflecting on the challenges faced during the last recruitment cycle and exploring strategies to overcome them, together, we are forging ahead and driving student recruitment for the 2025 intake.
As expected, enquiries and applications are already rolling in and we are charged with the responsibility of promoting our choice university to our prospective students. Cranfield University is becoming a preferred destination for a growing number of Sub Sahara Africa students and with the scholarship opportunities available in multiple Sub Saharan African countries, a lot more prospects have a chance of studying at Cranfield.

Cranfield University MoU with Doha for Science and Technology (UDST)
Cranfield University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST), with a special signing ceremony at the Qatar Embassy in London. UDST specialises in applied research and education, with a focus on technological innovation and sustainable development in the State of Qatar and globally. The MOU with Cranfield University will span research and education links and build aerospace capabilities at UDST, as well as facilitating academic staff and student collaborations. Dr Salem Al-Naemi, President of UDST, signed the MOU alongside Cranfield’s Professor Dame Helen Atkinson DBE FREng, Deputy Vice-Chancellor - Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

Cranfield University visit to Iraqi Cultural Attaché
It was a pleasure to visit the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in London alongside Dr Afy-Shararah, where we had the opportunity to meet with Professor Al-Hashimi and Dr Suhair. This visit served as an invaluable occasion to reaffirm and strengthen our longstanding relationship with the Iraqi Cultural Attaché. We had productive discussions on how Cranfield University can continue to support incoming Iraqi students, including initiatives to enhance their academic experience, facilitate smoother transitions, and provide tailored support. We look forward to building on this partnership and welcoming more Iraqi students to Cranfield in the future.

NASA astronaut awarded Aerospace Distinguished Alumni Award
Cranfield University proudly welcomed back NASA astronaut and distinguished alumnus, Commander Jack Hathaway (MSc Flight Dynamics 2014), for an unforgettable visit to a local school. Jack visited Holywell School in Cranfield to speak with Year 5 pupils during an assembly.
Jack shared his inspiring journey from serving as a Commander in the US Navy to training as a NASA astronaut. He spoke about his experiences preparing for future missions to the International Space Station and the moon, offering the children a unique insight into the challenges and rewards of space exploration.
Jack was also presented with the 2024 Distinguished Aerospace Alumni Award at the Aerospace Alumni Awards at Cranfield, where he delivered a keynote lecture for staff and students. Also recognised at the event was the 2024 Excellence in Achievement Award for Recent Graduates winner, Subham Gupta (MSc Astronautics and Space Engineering 2018), Chief Executive Officer - Space Resources Laboratory Ltd.
Cranfield soars in Poets&Quants latest MBA Rankings
Cranfield School of Management has made an extraordinary leap in the Poets&Quants Top International 2024-25 MBA ranking, climbing 31 places to rank 20th among international business schools outside the US, up from 51st in 2023. This is the biggest jump in this year’s rankings and cements Cranfield’s Transformation MBA as 5th in the UK.
Poets&Quants highlighted Cranfield’s emphasis on practical learning and strong industry ties as key factors behind this success. The ranking reflects significant improvements across multiple areas, including Bloomberg Businessweek, where Cranfield’s MBA is ranked 1st in Europe for Learning and 2nd in Europe for Entrepreneurship, with strong employment outcomes.
Professor David Oglethorpe, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, praised the achievement, saying: “Our MBA has a sharp focus on building the skills and experiences that businesses need, helping students develop industry connections and excel in their careers. It’s fantastic to see this recognised in such a prestigious ranking.”

Secretary of State for Education re-affirms the UK Government's welcome to current and future international students
In a new video from the Department for Education, the Secretary of State for Education, Bridget Phillipson, extends a warm welcome and encouraging message of support on behalf of the UK Government for current and future international students looking to study here.
Drones used to uncover a 3,000-year-old mega-fortress
A Cranfield University academic has used drone mapping to investigate a 3,000-year-old ‘mega-fortress’ in the Caucasus mountains. Dr Nathaniel Erb-Satullo, Senior Lecturer in Architectural Science at the Cranfield Forensic Institute, has been researching the site since 2018 with Dimitri Jachvliani, his co-director from the Georgian National Museum, revealing details that re-shape our understanding of the site and contribute to a global reassessment of ancient settlement growth and urbanism.
